You can request deletion of the data Consigio holds about you — including any data we received from Meta through your WhatsApp Business Account connection. This page explains how to request deletion, what happens to your data, and how to remove data from the third parties we work with.
This page satisfies Consigio's data-deletion requirements under Meta's Platform Policy. For our general privacy practices, see the Privacy Policy. For the terms governing your use of Consigio, see the Terms of Service.
1. How to Request Deletion
Choose the option that is easiest for you. Both result in the same deletion of your Consigio account and associated data.
Option A — Delete in the app (fastest)
Open Consigio and go to Settings → Account.
Tap Delete Account.
Confirm. Your account, customer records, message history, and stored WhatsApp access token are queued for deletion.
Option B — Email request
If you cannot access the app, send a deletion request from the email address associated with your Consigio account to support@consigio.com with the subject "Data Deletion Request." Include the email address or business name on your account so we can locate it. We will confirm receipt and may ask you to verify ownership before proceeding.
WhatsApp / Meta data. Requesting deletion here also deletes the WhatsApp Business Account access token stored by Consigio and revokes our ability to operate your account. Meta retains data it processed (such as message content delivered through WhatsApp) under its own retention practices — see Section 4 to remove it there.
2. What We Delete
On a verified deletion request, we delete or anonymize the following as soon as practicable:
Your account profile (name, email, password hash, business details).
Your customer contact records (names, phone numbers, notes, tags, order history) that you created or imported.
Message content, templates, and delivery logs associated with your account.
Your WhatsApp Business Account access token, WABA ID, phone number ID(s), and business display name received from Meta.
Your subscription status and related records held by Consigio.
3. What We Retain
In limited cases we retain some data after deletion, as required or permitted by law:
Transaction & tax records. Where needed to comply with accounting, tax, or legal obligations, we retain minimal billing records for the period required by law (commonly up to 7 years), disconnected from your account where possible.
Security & abuse logs. Narrow records needed to prevent fraud, enforce our terms, or meet legal requests may be retained for a limited time.
Backups. Deleted data is removed from active systems promptly and from backup copies on a rolling basis (typically within 30–90 days).
4. Data Held by Third Parties
Consigio works with service providers that may hold data independently of us. Deleting your Consigio account does not automatically delete data held by them; you may need to act directly:
Meta / WhatsApp. Message content and related data processed by Meta are governed by Meta's own policies. To delete your WhatsApp Business Account or related data, use Meta's Business Manager and WhatsApp Business settings, or Meta's account-management tools.
RevenueCat & your app store (Apple / Google). Subscription and purchase records are managed by RevenueCat and the app store. Manage or delete them through your store account or by contacting the store's support.
Supabase. We use Supabase to store and process your data on our behalf; deleting your Consigio account removes the data we control within Supabase as described above.
5. Timeline
Confirmation. We acknowledge email requests within a few business days and verify ownership where needed.
Deletion. Account-level data is deleted or anonymized within 30 days of a verified request, except for limited legal-retention items described above.
Backups. Residual copies in backup systems are removed on a rolling basis (typically within 30–90 days).
